Your gal at the desk during the day was just excellent! Very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and fresh. I loved the desk chair! It fit me so well I wanted to take it home with me. Breakfast had a very nice variety and the dining area is nicely laid out.

we were in town for a wedding, so we didn't get a chance to see the whole town, but what we did was lovely. and we will have to return to do a leinenkugel's tour!

We just had a one night stay, but during that time visited Leinie's Lodge which was fun. Wish we'd have had time for a brewery tour. Chippewa Falls has a lot going for it and could have easily spent a few days there.

We love Irvine Park -- the walk around the zoo and park area is beautiful. We also rented kayaks from White's Rentals Paddle Shop and spent a couple hours on the southern, calmer waters of Lake Wissota--definitely recommend this opportunity. Walking the downtown throughout the weekend, we enjoyed good food from Casa Mexicana and Olson's Ice Cream. If we had more time, there were several more restaurants to try.

I have traveled to over 30 states, 8 Canadian provinces, and a dozen European countries by car. I am interested in history, nature, outdoor
activities, and people. On this trip I revisited Governor Dodge SP, Wyalusing SP, the Mississippi, Grandad's Bluff, Perot SP, Winona, Merrick SP, Pepin, and west central Wisconsin. As one in my mid eighties, I want to take short hour long walks to keep in shape. Exploring Chippewa Falls and environs was ideal for that. I enjoyed walking the lake trail a couple times at Lake Wissota SP and walking in Ervine Park. I got to know a interesting city and enjoying late fall in west central Wisconsin. It was a good get away.

Over the years Chippewa has done a good job of preserving their history, making the city a great place to visit. I love their efforts at preserving beloved Irvine Park and upgrading the zoo. Check out Leinie Lodge, Olsen's ice cream, Victorian architecture.

Quaint downtown area with many shops.
Quaint downtown area with many shops. I had black licorice ice cream for the first time since I was a young child at Olsen's
The bridge being worked on really increased our travel time to downtown but worth it.
The hotel needs many updates. There were no towels in the pool room and it took us 45 minutes to find someone that would even help us. We were double charged for our room , we were told one price on paper when we received our credit statement we were double charged. Can't seem to get a hold of anyone at the hotel to discuss this issue. To me it's not a way to run a business.
Downtown Chippewa Falls was a big upside surprise: the main street is lively and full of history. Chippewa Falls looks like the set of a movie in 1950. Loved walking and exploring the town, all from the hotel's front door. The hotel was just a mile or so from the highway, but loads better than an impersonal chain hotel right on the highway.
Loved that the pool area had its own bathroom. Made it easy with a little one not having to leave the pool area to find a bathroom or go back to our room to use the bathroom. This is the first hotel I have been in with this. Wish they all did.
The hotel was very clean. We enjoyed access to the pool/hot tub and the breakfast was great. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. You can tell they work hard to keep the place nice and as updated as possible
The hotel was absolutely beautiful, the room was very nice and very clean, the staff were very professional and friendly, the free breakfast exceeded our expectations, everything was perfect!
Value for money was super. The people at the front desk were some of the nicest people at a hotel on my whole trip. I would stay at this hotel over and over again
